Rosalia Vila, also known as Rosalia Rosaly, is a Spanish Flamenco music singer. Since she was a teenager Rosalia has explored the outskirts of traditional and pop music. Pepe Habichuela is a flamenco guitarist of great talent, described her voice as one that was sweet and had an old-fashioned sound. El Mal Querer was her significant commercial breakthrough and critical success in 2018. Following the release of Los Angeles garnered her attention and earned her a Latin Grammy Nomination for Best New Artist, it topped Billboard's Latin Pop Albums and she received an Grammy. The single La Fama featuring the Weeknd came out in 2021. Motomami was her 3rd studio album. She collaborated with many musicians and producers, such as Cory Henry. The release date was March 20, 2022, after the show of Chicken Teriyaki by Saturday Night Live. Rosalia was the very first Spanish artist to appear solo on the show. Along with taking home three additional Latin Grammy Awards for Motomami Rosalia also became the first woman to win the Latin Album of the Year twice.
